回樂峰前沙似雪，
受降城外月如霜。
不知何處吹蘆管，
一夜征人盡望鄉。

The sands in front of Huile hill could have been the snow;
The moonlight looked like frost below the Shouxiang city walls.
Someone was playing a reed flute, who knows where,
And all through the night the soldiers yearned longingly for home.
